Aw hell yeah! Deadwood is fantastic. I've been through seasons one and two, but haven't gotten to three yet. Enjoy it!
I'd suggest picking up Carnivale next. Definitely worth the watch.

maybe you'll get those 2 made for TV movies for closure (after season 3). or maybe HBO is trying to see if they should do more seasons instead...whichever makes more profit will probably win.

I've just watched the first couple episodes and I agree, it's amazing. Also, I was reading that overall, the show has almost 1.5 f-words/minute. Crazy.

I was enraptured by this show, but I think that Season 2 really topped it all, tho Season 3 has its moments, even if it's cribbing from McCabe and Mrs. Miller pretty hard.

The fellatio-fueled monologues by Swearengen are a tour de force. I adore the dialogue--best in television.
Richardson is cute, too. And I believe I've made my feelings about Alma Garrett clear in the past.
