    Man, that's a scary and powerful story. Very, very interesting reaction. It takes guts and that had it...and also the good sense to say hello to people. That's the answer...it's getting the community back.

    This statement concernes me though "it sounds like shit, but the dudes at the bar on my corner said they will not let a black man walk down oxford street ever again."

    Please don't hold the actions of one black person against all black people. You sound much wiser than that.

    Hi Debo Hobo,

    Thanks for your comment on my blog! I just wanted to mention... this story I published of my friends getting attacked in their home... Please don't think that is what we think. My friend was just quoting the local guys in the bar who have grown up in a very white, very closed neighborhood (Fishtown). They have been like this for a long, long time, and we hope to change their minds. It's unfortunately that a lunatic who was threatening people in their homes is black. Especially in that neighborhood. It's just sad. We've got friends of all colors. We work for harmony among people, it wouldn't be us who would say such close minded things...
